This website is intended to celebrate the life of our dear friend, Larry Seidl, who we lost to an unfortunate auto accident on June 10, 2007. Larry's lust for adventure and travel were clearly expressed through all facets of whitewater kayaking. He was passionate about paddler safety and river conservation. Larry was an excellent teacher and his echoes of encouragement can still be heard from eddies all over Maine and New Hampshire. He was clearly drawn to the river's ability to bring people together, people from all walks of life, people who appreciate the beauty and understand the force of moving water. Therefore, bigairlarry.com was developed to keep paddler communication flowing, as well as, pay tribute to the fond memories Larry helped create and share. Please visit and enjoy this site often.
